Fault	Solution
The computer screen is erratic and illuminates, but does not register with movement.	It is possible that there is a loose connection. Check that the computer lead is connected properly to the unit. If connected properly check sensor gap. Contact your local dealer if this fails to address the problem.
The computer does not illuminate after battery installation.	Reinstall batteries in correct position and try again. If the LCD screen fails to illuminate, try rotating the batteries slightly in the computer. If this fails, contact your local dealer.
The computer display is erratic or slow while displaying RPM.	The gap between the sensor and the magnetic ring is too wide. Remove inspection plate to check sensor gap and confirm that the magnetic ring is not wobbly or loose. The sensor bracket can be bent slightly to bring the reed switch closer to the magnetic ring.
