Cable Assembly: Weight Stack

Remove rear shroud:
  1. Detach rear shroud from cable station.

  2. Loosen guide rod retainer screws.

  3. Detach and lower retaining rings.

  4. Remove guide rod retainers from cable station.

  5. Remove cable drive from cable station.

  6. Replace permanent guide rods for temporary guide rods.

  7. Add weight plates onto temporary guide rods.

    Note: PD and ROW use 14 weight plates
  8. Replace guide rods.

  9. Replace cable drive onto cable station.

  10. Insert guide rod retainers into cable station.

  11. Raise retaining rings and clip onto guide rod retainers.

  12. Tighten guide rod retainer screws.

    Note: Tighten to 40-50-39 in lbs (4.5-5.6 Nm)
  13. Ensure cable has at least ½" (12.7mm) of thread engagement into the carriage. Then tighten jam nut.

    Note: Tighten to 20-25 ft lbs (27.1-33.8 Nm)
  14. Ensure pulley weldment has at least ½" (12.7mm) of thread engagement into the headplate assembly. Then tighten jam nut.

    Note: Tighten to 20-25 ft lbs (27.1-33.8 Nm)
  15. Adhere label over weightstack and peel off backing.

  16. Adhere labels over incremental weights.

  17. Attach rear shroud to cable station using rivets.
